The experienced teachers and caregivers at our child care center in Huntington Beach, California, proudly offer the quality care and education your child deserves. BrightStar Learning Center focuses on ways to enrich your child's life academically, socially and emotionally.
Our Staff
We hire staff members who share our belief in the importance of building self-esteem, celebrating the uniqueness of each child, and promoting the curiosity and wonder that make childhood a time of joy and magic. Our teachers use hands-on learning experiences to encourage exploration of the environment and to launch children on their voyage of self-discovery. Our teachers are educated in Early Childhood Education through college coursework. They meet or exceed the requirements set By the Department of Social Services and Community Care Licensing Division under Title 22. We always encourage continuous education in the field.
Ratios
- Infants/Toddlers - 1:4
- Yellow Suns - 1:12 (we typically run a 1:9 ratio and we always try to have two teachers in this classroom)
- Yellow Ducks - 1:12 (we typically run a 1:9 ratio and we always try to have two teachers in this classroom)
- Birds/Pre-K - 1:12
- School-age - 1:14 (Field Trips 1:10)

We have observed former students return to BrightStar to acquire work experience while they pursue their college education and careers in education. Moreover, our own children and even grandchildren have found employment opportunities within our organization.
